Skilled Nursing Services
We offer qualified, registered nurses who provide professional nursing care in the comfort of patients’ homes. Our skilled nursing services include administration of medication, including injectables, wound care, stoma care, tracheostomy care, and monitoring of chronic conditions. For example, our nurse visits Sarah, a mother battling diabetes, to ensure her medications are administered correctly and to regularly monitor her blood sugar and general health, significantly improving her quality of life.
Training of Family Caregivers
Recognizing that family caregivers are essential to patient care, we provide training programs that enhance their skills. This training equips them with the knowledge needed to care for their loved ones effectively. For instance, Mary, a 72-year-old woman caring for her elderly mother, benefited from our caregiver training, for example, timely medication, spotting danger signs of disease complications, general hygiene has allowed Mary to learn essential techniques that improved both her mother’s well-being and her own confidence.
Caregiving Services
Our caregiving services include non-medical support tailored to assist with daily living activities. This service helps patients maintain their independence while receiving the care they need. We provide trained caregivers who assist with personal care, such as meal preparation, assisted feeding where necessary, diaper changes, bed turning, and companionship, ensuring a holistic approach to patient well-being.
Homecare Equipment
We facilitate access to affordable homecare equipment. Patients and their families can easily find essential tools to manage their conditions. For example, Wamae, a young boy with cerebral palsy, was able to access a specialized mobility device through our platform, enabling him to participate more fully in family and fun activities. In addition, we also provide glucometer and blood pressure machines and ripple mattresses for immobile patients.
Physiotherapy Services
Our licensed physiotherapists and occupational therapists offer in-home physiotherapy services to enhance mobility and improve quality of life. This service is particularly beneficial for patients recovering from surgery or those with chronic conditions that require rehabilitation.
Free Screening & Health Education
We believe in the importance of early detection and prevention. Our free health screening programs and educational workshops raise awareness about chronic conditions and promote proactive health management in the communities, including underserved population. Through these initiatives, we aim to empower individuals with the knowledge to detect health risks and make informed health decisions.
Provision of Assistive Equipment
We supply essential assistive equipment that helps patients manage their conditions more effectively. From mobility aids to daily living aids, our goal is to enhance patients’ independence and quality of life. We work closely with patients and families to ensure they receive the right equipment for their specific needs.
Nutritional counselling.
We offer nutritional counselling to families living with the elderly, chronically ill, post surgical with for example gastrostomy tubes and stomas, and children. This education on diets improve the wellbeing and promote healing for post surgical patients. For other patients in the community, our nutritional advise and diets are tailored towards different medical conditions.
